But a new study from the University of Cambridge seems to suggest you may need to substitute more time for sleeping with other things, like exercise or activity.
The Cambridge study surveyed over 9,000 middle-aged and older adults, and discovered that people who slept for more than eight hours a night had a 46% higher chance of experiencing a stroke, compared to people who slept between six and eight hours a night.
